AREA C – ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION NETWORK PLAN COMMUNITY SURVEY NOW AVAILABLE
Lived community experience and input from all Area C residents are needed.
The Strathcona Regional District (SRD) is developing an Active Transportation Network Plan (ATNP) for Electoral Area C. Lived community experience and input from all Area C residents are needed.
This plan will offer guidance on achieving better active transportation conditions on Quadra Island and its connections to surrounding communities and beyond, aligning with the policy goals, objectives, and targets most important to the community. Community input will play a key role in shaping a safer, healthier, and more accessible active transportation network for all residents.
What is Active Transportation?
Active transportation includes walking, cycling, and rolling (wheelchairs, scooters, etc.). It’s a way to stay healthy, reduce greenhouse gas emissions, and build stronger community connections by making human-powered travel safer and more convenient.
Share your Ideas & Get Involved
The SRD is gathering feedback on current active transportation options and what improvements are most important to the community. Responses will help prioritize projects and direct future investments in Area C’s active transportation network.
