Purpose of proposed Bylaw: Bylaw No. 519, if adopted, would rezone the subject lands from Country Residential Four (CR-4) to Country Residential Three (CR-3) to facilitate subdivision of each of these parcels into two lots, ranging in size from 1.0 to 1.3 hectares.

Area affected by proposed Bylaw No. 520: The subject area is legally described as the North ½ of the North East ¼ Section 29, Township 4, Comox District, Plan 552C as shown on Map 2 below.

Purpose of proposed Bylaw: Bylaw No. 520, if adopted, would rezone that portion of the subject lands currently zoned Country Residential Four (CR-4) to Country Residential Three (CR-3) to facilitate subdivision of the land into 1-hectare lots.

 

Copies of the proposed bylaws and related information are available for inspection at the SRD Customer Service Centre, located at 990 Cedar Street, Campbell River, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, from September 14, 2023 until September 26, 2023.
The public hearing will be held by the Director of Electoral Area D representing the SRD Board. Anyone who believes their interests are affected by the proposed bylaws will be given an opportunity to be heard at the public hearing. Written submissions from persons who are unable to attend the hearing must be delivered by hand or electronically to the Regional District office no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 26, 2023 in order to be considered as part of the public hearing record. The SRD cannot consider any representations made after the close of the public hearing.
