SRD Administrative Office is closing its doors to the public but remaining accessible by phone and email

SRD is taking additional precautionary measures by closing the administrative office doors to the public, staff remain accessible by phone and email. 

Campbell River, BC – The situation regarding COVID-19 continues to evolve. In an effort to limit and reduce the spread of COVID-19, the Strathcona Regional District (SRD) is taking additional precautionary measures by closing the administrative office doors to the public until further notice, located at 990 Cedar Street. Staff remain accessible by phone and email.

Strathcona Regional District facilities closed until further notice are:

  • Strathcona Gardens Recreation Complex
  • Quadra Community Centre
  • Cortes Island: Mansons Hall and Gorge Hall
  • Sayward Heritage Hall
  • Strathcona Regional District Office (closed to the public)

“We know these are challenging times for everyone.  It is at this time, we need to work together for the betterment of our community and support each other,” says SRD Chief Administrative Officer David Leitch.  “We are still available and will respond to phone calls and emails as quickly as possible.”

The Strathcona Regional District will continue to follow the advice of the Public Health Agency of Canada and the Provincial Health Officer. Information will be shared as it comes available at: www.srd.ca and on SRD social media channels.

The Strathcona Regional District is a partnership of four electoral areas and five municipalities providing services to approximately 44,000 residents.
