Area D – Water Main Repaired

A water main break on South Island Highway, near Stokes Place occurred on the evening of March 22nd, impacting homes in the surrounding area.

The break is now repaired, and service was restored early this morning.

There is no need for a boil water advisory; however, if you experience cloudy water, please run taps with cold water, ideally in a bathtub, until water runs clear (this may take up to 5 mins).

Thank you to the City of Campbell River crew who responded immediately and worked throughout the night to restore services for Area D residents.
