April 29 2020 — CANCELLED – NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING – Bylaw Nos. 383 & 384 (BC Ferries)

BYLAW NO. 383 – QUADRA ISLAND OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN BYLAW, 2007, Amendment No. 14

BYLAW NO. 384 – QUADRA ISLAND ZONING BYLAW, 1990, Amendment No. 132

While the Strathcona Regional District continues to provide important services to the community, to be in line with the Provincial Public Health Order, it is necessary for the SRD to defer all scheduled public hearings until further notice.  As a result, the public hearing scheduled on Quadra Island for April 29, 2020 to consider Bylaw Nos. 383 and 384 (BC Ferries) has been cancelled.  The SRD will do its best to continue to process official community plan amendment and rezoning applications in a timely manner and in doing so, the SRD will give consideration to waiving public hearings where permitted by the Local Government Act.
