BYLAW NO. 379 – CORTES ISLAND OFFICIAL COMMUNITY PLAN BYLAW, 2012, Amendment No. 2

BYLAW NO. 380 – ELECTORAL AREA “I” (CORTES ISLAND) ZONING BYLAW, 2002, Amendment No. 30

While the Strathcona Regional District continues to provide important services to the community, to be in line with the Provincial Public Health Order, it is necessary for the SRD to defer all scheduled public hearings until further notice.  As a result, the public hearing scheduled on Cortes Island for April 30, 2020 to consider Bylaw Nos. 379 and 380 (Cortes Island Seniors Society)  has been cancelled.  The SRD will do its best to continue to process official community plan amendment and rezoning applications in a timely manner and in doing so, the SRD will give consideration to waiving public hearings where permitted by the Local Government Act.
