Public Meeting to commence: 7 pm
Area affected by proposed Bylaws: The subject area is described as Lot B, District Lot 216, Quadra Island, Sayward District, Plan VIP56758 as shown on the maps below.
Purpose of proposed Bylaws: The bylaws, if adopted, would re-designate and rezone a 0.46-hectare parcel of land at 1313 Cramer Road, Heriot Bay BC, from Residential / Residential One (R-1) to Commercial / Commercial Two E (C-2E) to facilitate the use of the property at 1313 Cramer Road, Heriot Bay BC for Tourist Commercial storage purposes, relating to multi-day kayaking tours arranged on the BC coast.


Copies of the proposed bylaws and related information are available for inspection at the Strathcona Regional District Customer Service Centre, located at #102 – 990 Cedar Street, Campbell River, between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday to Friday, from October 26, 2018 until 12:00 noon on Monday, November 5, 2018. The Bylaws and associated staff report may also be viewed on the Strathcona Regional District website at www.srd.ca.
The public hearing will be held by a delegation of Electoral Area directors representing the Strathcona Regional District Board. Anyone who believes their interests are affected by the proposed bylaws will be given an opportunity to be heard or to file a written submission at the public hearing.
Written submissions from persons who are unable to attend the public hearing must be delivered by hand or electronically to the Regional District office no later than 12:00 noon on Monday, November 5, 2018 in order to be considered as part of the public hearing record. The Strathcona Regional District cannot consider any representations made after the close of the public hearing.
