Notice of Proposed License – Strathcona Gardens Recreation Facility

Public Notice is hereby given that on Wednesday, April 27, 2022 the Board of Directors for the Strathcona Regional District may proceed with final passage and adoption of Bylaw No. 459, being Campbell River Storm Licensing Agreement Authorization Bylaw 2022, which would authorize the Regional District to enter into a 3-year agreement with the Campbell River Storm Hockey Club for exclusive use of portions of the Strathcona Gardens recreation facility, those being the VIP South Room (Storm office) and the Storm Dressing Room.

Bylaw No. 459 is available for public inspection (links listed below) or in person at the following locations from Friday, April 1, 2022 to Wednesday, April 27, 2022 (except public holidays):

(Monday – Friday 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.)

Strathcona Gardens Recreation Facility
225 South Dogwood Street
Campbell River, BC
(Monday-Friday 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.)
(Saturdays 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.)
(Sundays 9:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.)

Those persons who wish to object to the passage of Bylaw No. 459 or who believe that the proposed license agreement is not in the public interest may file a written objection to the address below before 12:00 noon on Friday, April 22, 2022 for consideration by the Regional Board.
