The SRD Board has approved its 2026–2030 Financial Plan, reaffirming its commitment to responsible financial management and strategic investment in strong, resilient communities.
Construction will take place for 1–2 weeks starting in early March (Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM). The trail head adjacent to the new overflow parking lot will be closed during construction hours.

Bylaw No. 625 proposes to amend the boundaries of the Oyster Riverbank protection area to be coterminous with those established for the Oyster River flood protection service in Electoral Area D (Oyster Bay-Buttle Lake).
The Board of Directors for the SRD will be considering Bylaw No. 631, being the 2026-2030 Financial Plan and Capital Expenditure Program, at its regular meeting scheduled for February 25, 2026
The SRD is moving ahead with the design of the Area D Stormwater Collection System, a project focused on improving stormwater management and reducing localized flooding, surface ponding, and runoff issues.
The deadline for receipt of written complaints by the Regional District is 8:45 a.m. on Monday, February 9, 2026.
