FREE Earthquake First-Aid Sessions offered by Strathcona Emergency Program
In conjunction with this year's annual "Shakeout" Earthquake Drills.
The Strathcona Emergency Program is pleased to offer a FREE Earthquake First-Aid course to Campbell River & Area D residents in conjunction with this year’s annual “Shakeout” Earthquake Drills.
This course will better equip you to care for your loved ones after a major earthquake with the following learning objectives:
- Slings and splints
- Stop the Bleeding (Pressure Bandages and Tourniquets)
- Wound Care
- Moving an Injured Victim (Techniques and Best Practices)
