Call for Nominations for B.C. Ferry Authority
The SRD is seeking expressions of interest from qualified Individuals who wish to be considered for the position of director on the Board of the B.C. Ferry Authority for a term commencing April 1, 2021 and ending March 31, 2024.
The Strathcona Regional District is seeking expressions of interest from qualified Individuals who wish to be considered for the position of director on the Board of the B.C. Ferry Authority for a term commencing April 1, 2021 and ending March 31, 2024. The successful appointee may be eligible for reappointment for a further term of 3 years.
To be considered for this position an individual must be a qualified Authority candidate, as that term is defined in the Coastal Ferry Act (British Columbia), and must also satisfy the conflict of interest provisions set out in the Act. Individuals interested in being considered as candidates for this position are requested to complete a nomination form available electronically at www.srd.ca or in person at the offices of the Strathcona Regional District. Completed nomination forms must be received by the Strathcona Regional District not later than 4:30 p.m. on Monday, November 23, 2020.
The Strathcona Regional District, in collaboration with the Comox Valley Regional District, Nanaimo Regional District, qathet (Powell River) Regional District and Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District, will be submitting a list of nominees for consideration to the B.C. Ferry Authority not later than January 15, 2021.
